POSITION DESCRIPTION
 

The Product Specialist Intern will predominantly assist with client support activities via an email- and phone-based support desk and also by participating in a variety of projects to support our clients and internal services delivery teams.  


This is a paid, part-time, and temporary engagement with potential for future employment.   


With frequent exposure to key players of our team, this position offers a great way to:

RESPONSIBILITIES
 
Primary responsibilities include support desk activities:
  • Documenting, troubleshooting, triaging, and resolving client inquiries
  • Internal coordination for the resolution of client inquiries which may require cross-functional interactions with other departments (e.g. technology, account management)
  • Aiding in ensuring data integrity in Salesforce CRM system
  • In addition, the Intern will support and collaborate with Project Managers, Account Managers, Support Technicians and Training on coordinating, implementation and execution of Client Services projects
Additional opportunities may include:
  • Assisting with the customization and editing of client clinical content within Zynx tools
  • Working with Zynx subject matter experts on special projects across the clinical informatics, technology, client services, operations, or product development domains
  • Assisting team with coordinating and managing project workflow, defining and documenting business processes
  • Creating and maintaining monthly and ad-hoc reports
  • Assisting the Account Management team with projects related to our existing client base (up to one day a week). Projects may include gathering client data, entering data into Salesforce CRM system, or reviewing client contractual data.

EDUCATION
 
A Bachelor’s degree is required.  Graduating seniors may apply.


EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS


Required
  • The candidate must be energetic and hard-working, have a great attitude, and be motivated to take initiative in a fast-paced and deadline-driven work environment
  • Willingness to follow protocols, but also have the ability to problem-solve and think critically under time constraints to best understand and meet our clients’ needs
  • The Intern should also be detail-oriented, well-organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills (verbally and electronically) and an effective team player
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States

Desired but not required
  • Prior corporate environment experience
  • Course work in technical or clinical areas of study
  • Prior experience with relational database applications
