Job Summary/Purpose:
 
Assist in the execution of HR programs and processes.  Provide day-to-day Employee Relations and administrative support. Responsible for administering select HR processes to include communicating HR policies and procedures, hiring/recruitment process, new hire onboarding and orientation, health and safety, leave of absences, and assisting in administration of benefits and compensation.
Primary Responsibilities:
 
  • Assist in the planning and execution of special projects and programs such as recruiting, performance management, compensation surveys, employee recognition, etc.
  • Coach and advise employees regarding HR policies, practices, and procedures
  • Conduct investigations and address employee complaints
  • Communicate proactively and work with department managers as needed to resolve employee concerns/issues and identify administrative needs that occur on a routine basis
  • Collaborate with line management to develop a strong understanding organizational culture, business strategy and goals, talent profiles to deliver on hiring needs and help drive business results
  • Execute HR programs such as top talent, appraisal process, succession planning, etc.
  • Respond to all unemployment claims
  • Coordinate pre-employment process (background check)
  • Conduct new hire orientation
  • Maintain all personnel files
  • Generate HR reports as required
  • Prepare termination files and scan into confidential HR drive.
  • Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

Successful candidates will have excellent collaborative & communication skills; display integrity and ethics.  Must be proactive and adaptable, with excellent learning agility.  We require a Bachelor's degree in HR and/or Business Administration or equivalent experience.  Master's degree and/or PHR/SPHR/SHRM Certification a plus.  Must have 3-5 years related experience.  Management experience preferred, along with Oracle system HRIS experience; knowledge base in labor law, IR or HR management; 3-5 years recruiting experience; excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Ability to work successfully with all levels within the organization.
