MARKETING AT MOTOR

The MOTOR Marketing team promotes our products, manages our digital presence, communicates our brand values, performs market research and organizes employee events.

 

We have an immediate opening for a Marketing Communications Manager to create content for all digital and print channels. In this role you will research, write, prepare and review articles, white papers, testimonials and advertising copy, as well as ensure all work follows editorial policies and standards. You will also manage the work of other writers.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Primary Responsibilities

* Serve as the primary copywriter for high-profile, multi-stage projects

* Manage the work of junior writers

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce effective promotional materials and launch new products

* Contribute to the selection of topics and creation of the editorial calendar

* Write and edit copy for a wide range of marketing materials including sales pages, e-mails, digital ads, website content and video scripts

* Produce innovative, attractive and compelling marketing content for web, social media, print, blogs and other delivery medias

* Develop reusable frameworks to accelerate the production of content for employees and customers

* Interview people across the company and turn complex technical language into digestible and engaging content

* Develop strategies that identify the appropriate audience, determine messaging hierarchies and develop user experiences that communicate the right message to the right person at the right time

* Identify key segments of our industry and align our marketing content and copywrite to deliver on the needs of the industry

* Participate in the dissemination of the written content on company web sites and social media

* Ensure consistent approved branding and messaging throughout all corporate communications

* Monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing communications

 

Required Qualifications

* Prolific writer with a maniacal protection of consistency grammar and style and a love of writing persuasive copy

* Degree educated ideally with an Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Advertising, English or related degree

* Excellent written and spoken presentation skills

* Hard-working and committed and able to produce quality content often to short deadlines

* Strong attention to detail

* Experience creating optimized content for social media, video, print and the web

 

Preferred Qualifications

* Five years professional experience in copywriting, journalism or creative writing

* Product or solution marketing experience in the B2B space

* Experience in art, photography, graphic design or advertising

* Strong skills with office productivity tools such as Microsoft Office

* Management or supervisory experience

* Experience marketing software, data or to a technical industry

* Passion for all things automotive
