The impact you will have

 

As the Manager, Content and Social Strategy, you’ll play an active role in developing content and social strategies that solve business challenges and generate results. You’ll develop strong relationships with clients that you’ll work closely with on a daily basis. You’ll innovate new approaches to how we think about, produce, and activate content and social media programs. You’ll leverage your understanding of consumer behaviors and social platforms to explore creative ideas that audiences will love. You’ll thrive in an entrepreneurial environment, collaborating closely with clients and colleagues across the country. You will bring all of the things that make you uniquely you, to the table, and leverage those traits in pursuit of team building and better work.

 

What you’ll do

  • Serve as the agency expert on all things social, including trends, ad formats, audience segmentation and targeting strategies, and creative best practices
  • Develop audience-led and data-driven social strategies for the short term and the long term, for B2B and B2C clients
  • Measure content performance and analyze that data, extracting valuable insights for client reporting and content optimization
  • Collaborate with media and creative teams in the development of social content
  • Support the development of the editorial voice for our clients, including language, tone, and how it comes to life across various platforms
  • Experiment with content formats and develop new and innovative ways to best engage our social audiences
  • Build strong and lasting relationships with social platform representatives in search of better ways to utilize their technologies
  • Manage our various social tech tools, including social listening and audience analysis tools, as well as content calendars and publishing platforms
  • Provide client-facing and on-demand feedback on content performance and optimization, social targeting tactics, platform usage, and moderation

Who you are

  • You have 5-6 years of experience social media, content, or strategy work
  • You’ve spent 2-3 years at an agency or publisher, working directly with brands
  • You have a degree or equivalent work experience  in journalism, media, advertising, creative writing, or content creation
  • You’re digitally native, with an eye for quality and a desire to create thought provoking, actionable social strategies and content pieces
  • You have a mastery of major social platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, Snapchat, etc.), from both an organic and paid emphasis
  • Experience in creating social content across multiple mediums (video, photo, design, copy)
  • You have a functional knowledge of content marketing and SEO strategies, and how to adjust social content to utilize them
  • You’re calm under pressure and thrive in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment that is constantly evolving
  • You are detail oriented, with strong multitasking and project management skills
  • You are passionate about people and growing the skills of junior team members
