Desired Education: B.S. or similar degree in Accounting; Masters in tax is a plus; C.P.A. is a plus.  Proficient in MS Excel/Word.


Desired Experience: The position requires someone with a solid foundation in U.S. corporate federal income tax issues and concepts.  International tax experience is a plus.  The candidate should have 2 to 4 years of public accounting or large company in-house corporate tax experience.  The position’s salary and title will be commensurate with the individual’s experience.  


Essential Job Functions

  1. Prepare federal and state corporate income tax returns, estimates and extensions.
  2. Prepare international tax compliance forms of a U.S. based multinational corporation.
  3. Assist with budgeting and forecasting of key income tax metrics.
  4. Assist with income tax audits.
  5. Assist with the preparation of the company’s tax provision in accordance with ASC 740 (formerly FAS 109 and FIN 48).
  6. Scenario planning and modeling to assist with business unit expansion or restructuring initiatives.
  7. Assist with special projects.
  8. Research tax issues and draft memorandum.
  9. Seek out process improvements.

Successful Candidate Will:

  1. Have ability to juggle concurrent projects and smoothly move from project to project with little advance notice.
  2. Desire to work in a flexible “team-based” environment.
  3. Drive to get involved in ad-hoc planning projects.
