Homecare Homebase is an established software development and hosted services leader providing exceptional products and services to agencies in the Home Healthcare and Hospice industries. We offer a state of the art product suite which combines the power and portability of the Smartphone with proven web-based back office and administrative services.

 

Homecare Homebase has thousands of users across the United States and we are experiencing incredible growth. Our set of Home Health and Hospice products utilizes a Microsoft/VMWare/Citrix hosted solution created using Visual Studio components, ASP.NET, C# and other current technologies.  We have offices and co-locate our data center services in Louisville, KY and Dallas, TX.

 

Position Summary


Work in a team environment to help create, evangelize, deploy and manage continuous integration/delivery processes and tools in an automated fashion.

 

Job Responsibilities

Core Competency:

  • Successful integration of CI and CD via strong technical and working relationships with scrum teams, operations engineers, architects, vendors, contractors and leadership.

  • Effectively communicate concepts, vision and philosophy to all levels of the organization.

  • Shares/mentors continuous improvement best practices throughout the organization.  Acts as a crucial change agent around this topic.

Technical Expertise:

  • Evaluate current CI/CD processes and identify improvements both in workflow and tooling. This includes evaluation of tools, process, and vendors.

  • Able to quickly attain understanding of the system components, architecture, integration, source code structure, version control, daily builds, installations, deployments, patch releasing, bug tracking, release document review, and deployment of various applications in hosted environments as well client installed environments.  

  • Experience with builds and versioning and how to integrate them into the automated CI/CD pipeline and SDLC controls.

  • Implement and scale monitoring of the pipeline to ensure applications are deployed as required by project schedules resulting in stable, reliable, and dependable environments.

  • Stay abreast of technology advancements to identify, research, and evaluate solutions that would benefit our environment.

  • Employ excellent analytical skills and ability to create visualizations and dashboards.

Project Management/Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Able to partner with each scrum team to streamline, improve and sustain CI/CD.

  • Creates technical plans including design, implementation and adoption.

  • Able to work cooperatively and as a leader.

  • Collaborates effectively and timely with project managers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science required or equivalent years of experience.

  • 8+ years of professional software development experience with good knowledge of Software Development Process.

  • 3+ years of professional, hands on infrastructure administration and engineering experience.

  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused, changing environment.

  • Experience in Health Care Industry and knowledge of HIPAA is a plus.

  • Experience with agile practices and planning solutions such as JIRA and Microsoft Azure DevOps.

  • Experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines and Release Management.

  • Experience with Azure Resource Manager and automating Azure via ARM.

  • Experience with Ruby, JSON, C#, T-SQL, Java, REST and other API integrations.

  • Experience with Docker or other container solutions as well as container management solutions such as Kubernetes.

  • Experience with moving solutions to the cloud (AWS or Azure).

  • Experience in build automation and deployment tools including Octopus, Jenkins, SonarQube, and MSBuild.

  • Proficiency with MS Office products including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Internet skills required.

  • Citizenship: HCHB requires all applicants to be US citizens or have a green card allowing them to work in the US without being subject to export control restrictions.
