STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
 

 

The Financial Product Sales Specialist works within the current Sales & Marketing team structure to assist in the sales process for both new and existing accounts for all Financial/Billing software and service offerings of HCHB.
 

 

MAJOR TASKS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide sales demonstrations (both on-site and via webinar) with current HCHB territory sales representatives on the billing, accounting, and reports of the Homecare Homebase billing/financial software application

  • Provide Financial training to the Sales team and product knowledge assistance as needed

  • Provide RFP/RFI assistance

  • Assist with sales discovery visits and tailoring of the software presentation to meet the unique needs of prospective customers in the sales process

  • Maintain a strong working relationship with the HCHB Product Management team to ensure sales-related issues are communicated to the HCHB PM team and vice versa

  • Participate in Sales & Marketing status meetings; present product features and updates as well as provide input on sales-related activities

  • Spend time in customer locations as needed in an effort to understand the software’s financial and clinical features/functionality that are important to the sales process

  • Maintain a working understanding of financial and clinical processes, state regulations, and HCHB policies and procedures

  • Assist with and/or backup clinical demonstrations as needed for sales presentations with current HCHB territory sales representatives on all clinical components of the software (back office workflow, PointCare, and reports).

  • Serve as subject matter expert to clients and internal team members and advise Product Management, Implementation, Client Success, and leadership on trends/challenges facing customers as it relates to needs in an EMR.

  • Attend conferences and exhibitions, meet with clients, and demonstrate Homecare Homebase technology solutions.

  • Assist in maintaining the Sales or other sales-related databases with appropriate clinical data to be used during sales demos (webinar or on-site).

 

The Financial Product Sales Specialist should have strong communication skills and be comfortable making all levels of product demonstrations, presenting via PowerPoint and demonstrating the software in person and via webinar to varying audiences. They are expected to be well versed in the HCHB software and manage most all questions and requests from prospects regarding software functionality, integration of HCHB tools throughout the agency, and benefits of the HCHB system.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in related fields preferred, but not required.

  • Four years’ experience in the healthcare setting, preferably the home health setting.

  • Strong presentation skills and product demonstration experience.

  • Strong customer service skills, including timely response to users’ inquiries and/or complaints.

  • Ability to absorb and convey highly technical information, including detailed written documentation.

  • A general understanding of home health and hospice and reimbursement for such services.

  • A hands-on and customer-centric approach.

  • Ability to travel ~50% to demonstrate to clients and at trade shows.

  • Time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.

  • Ability to work as part of a team.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and information technology.

  • Citizenship: HCHB requires all applicants to be US citizens or have green card allowing them to work in the US without being subject to export control restrictions.

  • Valid Driver's license required.
