Manage the development, tracking and execution of all projects that support the KFS Licensing and Marketing/PR teams’ functions including, but not limited to, marketing/sales materials development, creative tools (Style Guides), activation of promotions/live events, costume character usage, tradeshow exhibits, social media content and general creative support.  Must deliver projects both on time and within budget.
  • Maintain detailed project tracker that includes key deadlines, project specifics, current status, next steps, responsible parties, etc.
  • Establish and present a “New Project Briefing” process, communicating regularly with each department (Licensing, Marketing/PR, Digital, Syndication, Entertainment, etc.) to ensure each team’s project needs are captured in the tracker and to update teams on their projects’ progress
  • Serve as the liaison between internal teams, creative designers/developers and production houses to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
    • Circulate materials for approval so that all necessary parties review and sign off; consult Marketing Director to ensure messaging/creative aligns with brand goals
    • Proofread all deliverables to ensure accuracy and proper grammar usage
  • Work with Brand Assurance Associate to load all creative assets to Style Guides/Creative Asset Center with metadata; system must be easy to navigate, and assets must be user friendly for all LOBs (available in multiple formats)
  • Manage KFS Approvals when Brand Assurance Associate is out of office
  • Source, manage and keep current lists of freelancers, vendors (e.g., printing houses, event activation teams) and their rates, rank by skill type, work quality and value
    • Periodically evaluate regular vendors’ service; recommend action as needed
    • Collaborate with Legal to create a standard Work for Hire agreement form
    • Gather, code, and submit all invoices for payment to AP; track against budget
  • Develop and maintain Digital Press Kits for our brands to support PR requests for key art and messaging
  • Manage global costume character inventory and establish an international costume development process along with standard pricing
  • Facilitate all projects related to KFS tradeshow exhibitions
  • Manage outside parties’ permissions requests to use our brands in their promotions and advertising
  • Aid in the planning and execution of integrated marketing and PR plans; provide timelines for the development of creative and marketing tools to support KFS brands
  • Coordinate, create and distribute quarterly newsletter to licensees and partners
  • Problem solve internal and external business issues (with supervisor support, as needed) and follow through to resolution 
  • College degree required plus 5-7 years of relevant work experience
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills required to handle multiple simultaneous assignments and deadlines
  • Appreciation for the importance of process, efficient workflow and effective communication
  • Detail-oriented team player with highly productive work ethic and a proactive attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with brand marketing, public relations and creative services
  • Understanding of how to prepare creative files for final production (print/web/video) and the ability to troubleshoot issues quickly
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word and Outlook
  • Intermediate experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Acrobat Pro (graphic design training/video editing experience a plus)
