Summary:


Connecticut Media Group Real Estate General Manager is responsible for driving ongoing feature enhancements and new product development for the real estate vertical. You will be responsible for helping to drive our editorial and ad product offerings to support the evolving business needs of customers and prospects, which range from large, multinational enterprise companies to agents and small businesses.


You will work closely with Editorial, Sales and Marketing while collaborating with our Production, User Experience, Engineering, and Digital Product Management teams to help develop the roadmap, vision, definition, design and deliver products that will provide marketing tools for realtors and engage our consumer audiences.


Your objectives will be directly linked to business metrics such as revenue and customer engagement.

 

Responsibilities:

  •          Drive insights on the markets and segments in which these applications compete; stay abreast of industry trends, events, and channels to anticipate customer needs
  •          Help identify and size resources required in editorial, marketing and sales to help maximize opportunity in the real estate market.
  •          Assist in driving the vision and requirements, translate them to functional specifications, facilitate a sound design and deliver an efficient experience
  •         Actively leverage primary and secondary research to deepen understanding of customers across their lifecycle, from awareness to conversion and expansion
  •          Understand and profile high value, innovative use cases purchased and implemented by a variety of industry customers
  •          Create bundle solutions that provide deep local reach-extending to upscale markets and high-reproduction value distribution in contextually relevant environments
  •         Evaluate and prioritize requirements in partnership with sales, marketing, editorial and product team leadership, leveraging industry best practices and new innovations. Prioritize and manage a product roadmap.

 

Basic Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in real estate industry in marketing or product management role.

• Experience working cross-functionally with sales, marketing and editorial.

• Bachelor's Degree in a marketing, communications or business

 

Preferred qualifications:

• MBA strongly preferred

• Experience working with partners and business development • An experienced influencer with the ability to collaborate well in a matrixed environment having multiple stakeholders
