SUMMARY

Keys a variety of information from imaged/scanned documents such as name and addresses, email addresses, check amounts, scan lines, credit cards, micr lines, mark sense and handprint keying. 


This is a temporary position with possibility to go full time.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

 

  • Maintains confidentiality of CDS Global and its client’s proprietary information.
  • Works under general supervision.

  • Performs basic NIS keying functions including, but not limited to: OCR, Check, Address, COFA, Mark Sense, Classification, Credit Card, Email, MICR, Offer, Hand Print, Correspondence, Credit Card Masking.

  • Handles basic keying transactions following standard processing procedures.

  • Displays sense of urgency with job responsibilities.

  • Adheres to work schedule and attendance policies.

  • Reacts professionally to changes while remaining productive.

  • Works in a fast paced, flexible, team environment.

  • Treats colleagues with respect; communicates with honesty and transparency, candor and directness. 

  • Works in a cooperative and professional manner, with all levels of employees, vendors and/or clients.

  • Adheres to work schedule and attendance policies.

  • Reports to work station as directed by management.

  • Organizes tasks and resources to complete work and meet deadlines according to established departmental procedures.

  • Follows CDS Global ergonomic and safety policies.

 

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Assumes additional responsibilities as requested (or required).
  • Perform functions in other departments as work load dictates.

 


EDUCATION AND/OR CERTIFICATION, SKILLS AND LICENSING

 

  • High School or equivalent preferred.
  • Basic PC Knowledge and skills.

  • Basic verbal and written English communication skills.

  • Basic attention to detail skills

  • Problem solving skills.

  • Minimum Typing Requirement: 35 WPM.

  • 10‑key preferred.

 Salary: $11.50/hour
