Director 1- Senior Manager of Technology Services

SUMMARY
The Senior Manager of Technology Services is responsible for the implementation and operations of all technology infrastructures which includes data center, network and server services, telephony, service monitoring, servers, storage and related software. This position is operationally responsible for ensuring the availability, integrity, and security for all IT systems and infrastructure. In addition, this position provides leadership and management to professional staff in the functional areas of Technical Operations.  

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Maintains confidentiality of CDS Global and its clients’ proprietary information.
Leadership for delivery of 24/7 service operations. 
Hands-on technical depth enables direct oversight, problem-solving leadership and participation for complex infrastructure implementation, system upgrades and operational troubleshooting. 
Applies working knowledge of Storage Area Network (SAN) and related technologies, Cisco-based network communications technology, High availability and disaster recovery architecture, communication and related technologies.
Utilizes experience with comprehensive disaster recovery architecture and operations, including storage area network and redundant, highly-available server and network architectures. 
Planning, project management and implementation leadership, identifying opportunities for automation, cost savings, and service quality improvement. 
Provides infrastructure services vision, enables innovation and seeks to leverage IT trends that can create business value consistent with the company’s requirements and expectations. 
Develops enterprise standards and technology architecture and the IT operations governance process. 
Interacts in cooperative and professional manner, with all levels of employees, vendors and/or clients, in team environment.
Organizes tasks and resources to complete work and meet deadlines according to established departmental procedures.
Follows CDS Global ergonomic and safety policies.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assumes additional responsibilities as requested (or required).

EDUCATION AND/OR CERTIFICATION, SKILLS AND LICENSING
Bachelor's degree or Computer Science or Computer Engineering.  Equivalent education and/or experience may be substituted for the minimum education requirement.
Experience with comprehensive disaster recovery architecture and operations, including storage area network and redundant, highly-available server and network architectures. 
10 or more years of experience in a supervisory or management capacity within the technology space.
15 more years total experience, including 5+ years in a production 24/7 high-availability multi-site enterprise ERP environment, including application hosting, voice and data networks, security and information protection. 
Experience leading overall infrastructure for a complex organization and network, including multicounty setup, VLAN setup for regulatory requirement, managing data protection, etc.  
Working knowledge of Storage Area Network (SAN) and related technologies, Cisco-based network communications technology, High availability and disaster recovery architecture, communication and related technologies. 
Experience with regulatory compliance issues, as well best practices in application and network security. 
Proven project management experience and proficiency in Network/Systems administration and architecture, AWS/Azure administration and architecture, change control tools and troubleshooting tools.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively coach, mentor and motivate team members to meet high performance standards.
Ability to apply professional negotiation techniques with internal and external customers to determine best fit solutions.
Demonstrated ability to gather project requirements from a diverse set of departments to develop programs that meet the needs of the business.
Well-developed interpersonal skills with proven ability to build effective relationships, and work cooperatively with all levels of the business.
High level problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and propose effective solutions that demonstrate sound judgment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively influence the business. 
Excellent presentation skills.
Strong organizational skills, with an ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Availability to provide support for staff outside of regular work hours.
Access to transportation requiring a valid driver's license, proof of safe driving record, and active insurance.
Advanced PC knowledge and skills. 
Advanced math skills.
