Under general direction, performs various accounting functions to gather, analyze, interpret, record and present financial data, according to established departmental procedures.



·       Maintains confidentiality of CDS Global and its clients’ proprietary information.

·       Maintains accounts and records and performs other accounting functions such as recording fixed assets, prepaid expenses and operating expenses.

·       Assists in preparation of various financial statements.

·       Researches and prepares various routine accounting reconciliations up to and including journal entries.

·       Gathers, analyzes and confirms accuracy of data used for resolving discrepancies and answers inquiries regarding that data.

·       Provides financial data to internal and/or external management and/or contacts.

·       Works on special projects as requested by the Manager.

·       Organizes tasks and resources to complete work and meet deadlines according to established departmental procedures.

·       Learns and applies new information in fast paced environment, including various accounting software applications.

·       Interacts in cooperative and professional manner with all levels of employees, clients and/or vendors in team-oriented environment.

·       Makes decisions on variety of tasks frequently requiring discretion, judgment and initiative guided by general procedures or standards.

·       Adheres to CDS Global attendance policies; reports to workstation as directed.

·       Follows all CDS Global ergonomic and safety policies.



·       Works extended hours as required or requested.

·       Performs additional duties as required or requested.



·       Associates Degree in Accounting or related field. Equivalent education and/or experience may be substituted for the minimum education requirement.

·       One or more years of business accounting experience.

·       Basic PC knowledge/skills; Lotus 123 and/or Excel skills preferred.

·       Advanced verbal and written communication skills.

·       Demonstrated skills gathering and interpreting data to solve problems.

·       Demonstrated experience working in a team environment.

·       Demonstrated skills prioritizing and completing long/short-term tasks with minimal supervision.

·       Advanced math skills.

·       Demonstrated experience remaining productive in changing environment.

If required to travel, has access to transportation requiring a valid driver’s license, proof of safe driving record and active insurance.
