Essential Functions: 

  • Carries out research activities, makes detailed observations, analyzes data and interprets results in comparison to stated editorial policies and work procedures
  • Performs data entry tasks to record or verify a variety of coded and uncoded source information into a knowledge base content maintenance system.Able to independently plan and prioritize order of completion for work assigned. Reliably completes assigned tasks associated to special projects that are unrelated to day-to-day routine work
  • Effectively communicates information in writing and verbally with team members and customers. Seeks guidance on issues and project details when necessary for accurate completion of assigned tasks
  • Able to work effectively and collegially with other departments
  • Reliably organizes and completes tasks associated with clinical update projects and other time and resource-intensive projects
  • Actively supports the organization's mission, vision, values and goals. Participates in activities within the organization that support performance improvement
  • Performs additional duties for the organization as assigned by supervisory personnel.

Required Skills

  • Intermediate proficiency with MS Office applications of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access
  • Demonstrates excellent verbal and writing capabilities
  • Multiple task prioritization; effectively seeks guidance when competing priorities are present
  • Attention to detail; supervised work performed in an accurate manner
  • Has effective organizational skills; able to assist in creating clinical project plans and document work instructions/procedures
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledgeable, or able to become knowledgeable regarding use of supported data in customer
  • Knowledgeable, or able to become knowledgeable regarding use of supported data in customer systems
  • Can work in a team environment, taking responsibility for supported content with limited direct supervision

Knowledge & Experience:

Minimum Education:

  • High school diploma.  Active Certified Pharmacy Technician (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board) status. 
  • AA or AS degree required; Bachelors degree preferred.
Minimum Experience:
  • Two years pharmacy technician experience in a healthcare setting.
