The Senior Partnership Development Manager has digital advertising experience and a background managing strategic client accounts. To excel in this role, you’ll need a strong understanding of interactive media and online advertising from the publisher perspective as well as experience forging relationships with senior level clients. In addition, the right candidate will have a strong analytics and financial planning background as well as the ability to apply creative thinking to drive actionable business goals. Help us grow our digital publisher relationships, lead strategic planning efforts, and be the face of Hearst Autos on behalf of our partners.

We will consider candidates for our San Francisco and Detroit offices. For Detroit, this role will start in our Ann Arbor office but eventually work from our new office in downtown Detroit in early 2020.

Responsibilities

  • Own the development, communication and implementation of the strategic planning process for all publisher partners.
  • Develop and execute high-profile initiatives to drive audience and revenue growth on publisher sites.
  • Manage the day to day interface with Ad Operations, Product Development and Technology and Sales while supporting the Publisher partners.
  • Assist in providing creative solutions to advertiser proposals and publisher site enhancements.
  • Includes using analytical tools to compile site traffic trends, creating mock ups of product and site suggestions, and tracking ROI on new feature roll outs.
  • Work with publishers on site redesigns, product development, content strategies, UX and other audience development initiatives.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, ad technology and measurement, competitive offerings with an eye towards the future.
 
Requirements
  • College degree in Business, Marketing or related field
  • 3 - 5 years Strategic Partnership Management or experience in digital media with a publisher, ad network or media company.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to present analysis and results to C-level stakeholders
  • Ability to analyze and apply data to business strategy and goals
  • Experience working with Doubleclick for Publishers and web analytics tools
  • Financial planning, revenue modeling experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Detail oriented and analytical problem-solving skills
