Jumpstart Automotive Media is seeking a smart, forward-thinking, results-driven individual to lead multiple aspects of the Revenue Operations team.  This individual must be a serious ad operations and analytical guru to drive complex operations system/process improvements, work closely across teams and evaluate/implement vendors and internal-built tools.


Revenue Operations manages campaign forecasting, yield management, account management, delivery, and optimization across multiple platforms and screens to maximize ROI.  Jumpstart is developing new products, new partnerships, and new opportunities… and the Director of Revenue Operations needs to be able to lead the charge to advocate for what will accomplish our goals most efficiently and effectively. 




Job Functions:

  • Lead and develop the Campaign Management teams and Technical Operations teams by providing career development and coaching 
  • Design/build reporting templates to be used by team members for performance optimizations
  • Assess platforms and data sources used to forecast, book, and deliver display ad inventory 
  • Assess current processes and workflow with internal teams to maximize revenue and ad performance
  • Help maximize programmatic revenue through strategy adjustments and Sales team training
  • Serve as the technical subject matter expert for our products, and train/assist the Account Management team with developing and presenting strategic sales proposals and solutions
  • Lead collaboration with Sales, Publisher Development, Product, Technology, Marketing, and Analytics departments to test, QA, and implement new products, ad units, creative executions, etc. prior to launch
  • Implement new combinations of 1st and 3rd party data segments to create new sales opportunities while driving better performance for existing campaigns
  • Co-manage relevant vendor relationships and assist with the assessment of new vendors
  • Work closely with senior management to drive company strategy


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Business, Economics or Computer Science preferred)
  • Minimum of 6-10 years experience in revenue/ad operations with demonstrated success (publisher side, agency side, media company, vertical ad network) 
  • Minimum of 3-4 years managing multiple direct reports with demonstrated success
  • Must have experience with optimizing programmatic guaranteed and preferred deals
  • Must have expert knowledge base related to ad serving technologies, best practices, reporting
  • Experience implementing new products internally and managing technology partners that facilitate behavioral/audience retargeting, data, mobile ad serving, SSPs, DSPs, DMPs
  • Outstanding communication skills

  • High attention to detail, able to multi-task and meet deadlines with excellent follow-through
  • Self-directed, team player who has a strong sense of urgency and proven ability to get results through effective leadership
  • Outstanding Excel, PPT and ad serving software proficiency (DFP, DCP, AdX, DBM)
  • Working knowledge of technologies including HTML, Flash, Javascript and other internet/networking protocols related to advertising creative, delivery, and process
